With Halloween on it's way, the beginning tech class has been working on some monster paintings with which to brighten our campus and show some spirit (excuse the pun). The project itself is designed to give students experience in how to reproduce a small piece of art or photograph on a large scale. Students first make transparencies of the art work and then, using an overhead projector, transfer the image to a 4'x8' sheet of plywood. At that point, they begin mixing paint and applying it to the canvas. Photos of all of our paintings should be up by the end of the week.
