Meet the Crew - Part 1 - Mannie Watson

This is the first in a series of posts designed to introduce you to some of the outstanding students in the technical theater department. Students profiled here have exhibited a strong work ethic, a spirit of collaboration and cooperation, and have produced work that is far above average.So to kick off this new feature, it is my pleasure to introduce to you, Mannie Watson.

Nicknames: Mannie, E-man, Boy Wonder, Darkness
Grade: Senior
Tech Theater level: I

What Mr. Overton says: "Mannie is a hard worker who gets along easily with all his peers. He produces outstanding work and is a stickler for detail, revising and reworking a project as many times as necessary to achieve the desired result. He is quick to help others and is great on a team, both in leadership and subordinate roles. He's also great during clean up. The man can move a broom!"

Q. What is your best subject?

A. "Math. Numbers are easy for me."

Q. What is the most interesting thing you've done?

A. "I went on this trip called Global Youth Leaders Conference. It's a trip I'll never forget, fo' real!"

Q. What are your outside interests?

A."Radio, Music Production and Sports"

Q. What random fact do you know?

A. "That falling cocoanuts kill more people each year than sharks."
